Note to self - I really must find a spare moment to update the website a little more often ....

The London Guitar Show was a lot of fun, many thanks to all who dropped by,
I'm making plans for Music Live ( November 12th - 14th ) now - hope to see plenty of familiar faces.

Things have been VERY busy, which is why I've been so slow in updating, with a number of guitars commissioned
and some exciting new developments, more of which will be detailed here once things are more certain.

Happy New Year !
I'm back from my Xmas break and raring to go, so here's what's in store for 2004 if I can fit it all in . .
The Ibanez is finally finished and I hope to apply a similar finish to an old Charvette that's lying around.
I hope to get the Explorer finished with a fancy new paint job.
I have four Teles to complete !
I've bought some seriously quilted (and very expensive) maple that I hope to turn into two guitars.
I hope to build myself a lapsteel
These, and hopefully many more, guitars will be added to the website. So, as long as I manage to keep up with the updates you should be able to see them as they progress.
If you'd like to see some of the guitars from this site and maybe say hello, I shall be at the London Guitar Show this year.
I hope you like the new look site . . .

More news today , as I'm now moving on with the Zebrano Tele

5th September 2003
-----------------------
Very busy at the moment , and time for a little announcement . I have signed up with Buzz Feiten to become an authorised Retrofitter , so anyone who isn't happy with the tuning of his or her instrument will be able to come and try one fitted with the system , and have their guitar done if they like it . It's a reversable process these days for most guitars so you're not stuck with it if you really can't get along with it. I look forward to trying it out .

30th August 2003

Finished the drying box , so I can leave freshly painted bodies and necks somewhere they won't get dusty . . .

29th August 2003

Lots of news to report . . .
First , there will be another black telecaster made , thanks to a new commission . As has been suggested to me , it may well end up as my signature guitar . . . there may be a new project page for this .
I fitted a set of Kinman pickups to a Mex Strat this week , which seem to have produced a guitar that has all the tone of a Strat but with none of the noise from TV , computer monitor etc . so for those of you that do a lot of home recording and want the classic Strat sound they are highly recommended , I can supply and fit them for £230 . . .
I hope to be making progress on the Zebrano Tele - so keep an eye out for updates .

what happened to July ?
lots of things happening, including a few days away , but things are really beginning to get busy which is what we want !
there should be some new guitars being built over the next few weeks and I might even finish the Ibanez . . .
I received some very helpful advice from world renowned guitar builder Hugh Manson , many thanks to him for sparing some time from the preparations for a new Mansons shop in Exeter
I also picked up some very nice flamed Sycamore , a relative of Maple, which will be appearing on one or two guitars over the next few months
I'm now booked to do the London Guitar Show next year , so I hope to see a few friendly faces over the weekend

17th June 2003

having spent a large part of the last few weeks doing paperwork , I'm now continuing with the Ibanez (for which I've been waiting for some stain ) and completing some repairs to a number of guitars too .

Nothing major to report this week , the Ibanez is still progressing , and I'm doing some research for a new project , details to follow when things are more definite , just to keep you guessing . . .

17th May 2003
------------------
As regulars will know , the black telecaster has made it's show debut at the London Guitar Show , on the Stringbusters stand . Many thanks to Norman for not only commissioning it but putting it on display , demoing their range of Electro-Harmonix pedals .

I'm now concentrating on two important tasks , one, the ongoing Ibanez project , and two , the launching of arrowheadguitars as a full time business.

As a result of this there should be some new guitars on display in the gallery over the next few months, all of which will be for sale .

It certainly looks like 2003 is going to be a busy time , and hopefully a successful one .

I'm also looking to add a comments page soon , so anyone who would like to express their opinion will be free to do so .
