a regularly updated account of the construction of two similar but very different guitars

the first has a body made from ash, with a maple neck and an ebony fingerboard, the second has a zebrano body with a maple neck and a bird's eye maple fingerboard.

these are the patterns I'll be using in the construction of the guitars

bodies roughly (and I mean roughly) cut out with a band saw

then using the pattern the bodies are shaped with a router
